Deionizer - 33M8/D

Radon and Tritium Filter. Produces water equivalent to single-distilled water. Use with SSS-33M8-R (Radon) and LIQ-X (Tritium).

The deionizer is a mixed bed and consists of 2 stages:

The First cartridge produces water equivalent to single-distilled water removing all ionized constituents (including NO3, PO4, and NH4) except free CO2 and silica. Capacity is 104 grams expressed as CaCO3 Second cartridge produces water ionically equivalent to triple-distilled water removing all ionized minerals down to a level of 4 ppb or less as well as CO2 and silica.

When used in tandem these cartridges produce water with a resistivity of 15 Mega Ohm-cm or greater. Capacity is 65 grams expressed as CaCO3 Each of the stages is in duplicate so that change-over may be affected by switching to the duplicate when regeneration is necessary.

Filter Holder - 33M8/F The filter holder is in-line and includes 1/4" NPT(F) and 1/4" NPT(M) ports. Supplied with 3/8" hose barb connectors. The graded bed filtering material is supported between two perforated 304 SS support screens. The filter may be changed without disconnecting lines.
